When placing an order, use this checklist!

We want your order to arrive safely and on time! Please help us ensure that your order arrives without hiccups by checking off this quick list below...

1. Did you enter your shipping address correctly?

Please check your order confirmation email to make sure your shipping address was entered correctly at the time you placed your order. This will ensure that your package is not rejected and returned to us by your local post office. Addresses with typos or missing information such as apartment number, building or house number, or first or last name may be rejected by the post office and returned to us. If a shipping address is entered with extra or missing characters, and that new address actually exists, your order may even be delivered to the existing address and your order will not be sent back to us at all. Please take a moment to review your shipping address in your order confirmation email (if you did not receive an order confirmation by email, please let us know and we will send you one). 

IMPORTANT NOTES:
If your order is entered with an incorrect address that actually exists, we will be unable to recover or replace your order. If your order is returned to us by the post office due to an error made in the mailing address at the time the order was placed, a return will automatically be processed for your order and a refund will be issued, minus original shipping charges. If your order is returned to us by the post office due to an error made in the mailing address at the time the order was placed, we are unable cover the re-delivery shipping fees.

Therefore, we strongly recommend you to review your shipping address in your confirmation email as soon as possible. If you find that your package is being returned by the post office due to an incorrect address before the package has reached us, you may choose to have your package re-delivered for a fee. You may also choose to cancel your order once the package arrives and a refund will be processed, minus original shipping charges.

If, however, you enter the wrong shipping address, and that shipping address actually exists, we are not responsible for that order. If your package is shipped to an incorrect address that exists, you may place a re-order with us at a discount.

2. Please place our website on your email safe-list.

Please add hello@retrocitysunglasses.com to your email "Contact List" to prevent our emails from filtering into your spam email folders.

3. Please remember to check the status of your order.

Please check the status of your order using the tracking number we will send by email. You may check the location of your package by visiting USPS.com and entering the tracking number from your email. Sometimes, United States Postal employees attempt to deliver packages without leaving notices for the recipient. If 5 business days have passed and you have not received your order, there is a good chance your package is waiting for you at your local post office. 

IMPORTANT NOTE:  If an order is returned to us by the post office because it was unclaimed by the recipient, a return will automatically be processed for your order and a refund will be issued, minus original shipping charges. For overseas customers, if an order is not claimed and the post office returns the order, a refund will be processed, minus a 20% restock fee.

4. If you haven't received your order confirmation by email...

...it may be because your email address was entered with a typo at the time you placed your order. Please check your email spam folder for your email confirmation as well. If it isn't in your spam folder and it does not appear within your main email inbox within 15 minutes after your order is placed, please contact us and we will email your order confirmation to you.

5. Order Cancellations

Please contact us immediately if you would like to cancel your order. An order may not be canceled once it has shipped. A return must be processed after the order is delivered. Please note that most orders ship out within 12 to 24 hours after the order has been placed.

6. Customs Fees for Overseas Orders

All applicable custom fees, taxes and duties are the sole responsibility of the customer and are not included in the cost of your order. Please note that you may be required to pay customs fees for your order at the time of delivery. Also note that these customs fees are not collected by us and the funds are not sent to us after they are collected. Custom authorities require that we state the value of your order directly on your package. Packages may also be subject to custom clearance procedures which can cause a delay in the delivery of your order. We cannot mark a package as a "gift" on the customs form.

IMPORTANT NOTE: If any customs fees that are due upon delivery are not paid or refused by the customer, a 20% restocking fee will be deducted from the refund once the package is returned to us.
